Seal jewelry in a plastic bag to minimize the natural oxidation process (tarnishing). Clean pieces with a soft, rouge polishing cloth or through a professional jeweler. Dips or liquid cleaners are not recommended. Chemicals in hairstyling salons and dishwashing liquids may cause discoloration.

Believe it or not, the best way to clean your gold is to lightly rub with soap, water, and a very small amount of ammonia. Rinse with warm water.
